An evening of German cars, cameras, Magnus Walker and his 277 Outlaw. Magnus put together this event of 500+ people through one post to Instagram depicting his '66 Irish Green 911 nestled under the historic Sixth Street Bridge. The caption gave the time and place, and enthusiasts from all over Los Angeles cruised over the bridge, turned onto Santa Fe and were greeted by music, cameras flashing, and the roar of engines revving. A hidden treasure for car aficionados alike.
While Hudson and I were watching the madness of hundreds of people lining up to take selfies with Magnus, Hudson mentioned something very insightful, that especially resonated given the situation. He said how cool it is that Magnus has never changed, both in his work and his personality. He started at a young age with a passion and followed it, trusting in his approach, and trusting in the fact that if you simply do great work one day something fantastic will come from it.
Below are some photos I took of the event with my Leica M and 28mm Summilux f/1.4 –
